High-Protein Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp low-fat cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 cup low-fat milk or water to blend
  • Optional: a few fresh strawberry slices and a light dusting of crushed graham cracker on top to serve

Method
 

  1. Add the frozen strawberries to the blender first.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and honey.
  3. Pour in the milk or water.
  4. Blend on high for 30–45 seconds until completely smooth and thick.
  5. Check the consistency — if too thick to pour, add milk or water one tablespoon at a time and blend briefly.
  6. Taste and adjust — a touch more honey if you want it sweeter.
  7. Pour into a tall glass immediately.
  8. Top with fresh strawberry slices and a light sprinkle of crushed graham cracker if using.
  9. Serve immediately while thick and cold.

Notes

Frozen strawberries cost significantly less than fresh and produce a thicker, colder smoothie without needing extra ice — buy a large bag and keep it in the freezer for smoothies throughout the week. A small block of cream cheese lasts for many recipes in the fridge and the tablespoon used here adds minimal cost while completely transforming the texture. Greek yogurt in a large tub used across multiple smoothie and breakfast recipes brings the per-serving cost down to almost nothing.
