Ingredients
Method
- Blend the rolled oats in a food processor or blender until they form a fine flour.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the oat flour, protein powder, almond butter, honey, and salt.
- Stir until a thick, cohesive dough forms.
- Mold a small amount of dough around the top two-thirds of each pretzel rod half, shaping it into a lumpy finger with a slightly knuckled texture.
- Dip the tip of each dough-covered pretzel into the melted white chocolate.
- Press a sliced almond onto the white chocolate tip to look like a fingernail.
- Dot a tiny bit of red food coloring onto the base of each almond nail for a chipped nail polish effect.
- Place the finished witch fingers on a tray and chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes to firm up.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
Notes
A single box of pretzel rods and a small bag of sliced almonds make a full batch of these witch fingers, so the spooky detail work adds very little to the overall cost.
