Peanut Butter Banana Protein Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Optional: 1 tsp honey for extra sweetness

Method
 

  1. Add almond milk to the blender first.
  2. Add banana, protein powder, peanut butter, and cinnamon.
  3. Add ice cubes on top.
  4. Blend on high for 45-60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and add honey if you'd like it sweeter, then blend again briefly.
  6. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

Buy bananas slightly overripe on sale and freeze them ahead of time — they blend into a creamier smoothie for less money than fresh ones.
