Method
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Pat the shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the shrimp for 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque, then remove and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add the sliced garlic to the skillet, cooking for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant and just turning golden, being careful not to burn it.
- Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits.
- Stir in the remaining butter and red pepper flakes until the sauce turns glossy.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet along with the cooked linguine, tossing everything together to coat.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
