High-Protein Turkey & Green Bean Casserole-Inspired Meal Prep Bowl: 36 Grams of Protein Under $5

This turkey and green bean casserole-inspired meal prep bowl takes one of the most beloved Thanksgiving side dishes and turns it into a genuinely satisfying, protein-forward dinner for the whole week. Sliced turkey breast sears until juicy while mushrooms cook alongside green beans in a light, creamy Greek yogurt sauce that echoes the familiar flavor of a classic green bean casserole without the heavy canned soup base. A scoop of brown rice adds a hearty, whole-grain foundation, and a sprinkle of crispy fried onions right before eating brings that unmistakable casserole crunch to every bite. Keeping the onions separate until serving time preserves their crispiness through multiple days of meal prep, so the topping never turns soggy in the fridge. With 36 grams of protein and all the nostalgic flavor of a Thanksgiving side dish, this bowl is a fun way to enjoy those familiar holiday flavors any week of the season. At $4.40 per serving, it’s a cozy, satisfying addition to the Sunday meal prep rotation.
