Honey Garlic Salmon for Two: A Glossy Restaurant-Style Dinner Under $10

This honey garlic salmon looks like something plated at a seafood restaurant, with its glossy, caramelized glaze and perfectly seared crust, yet it comes together in one skillet in under half an hour. A simple honey, soy, and garlic glaze coats the salmon as it finishes under the broiler, turning sticky and slightly charred at the edges in the best way. Asparagus roasts right alongside in the same pan, soaking up extra glaze and turning tender-crisp by the time everything comes out of the oven. A final swirl of butter into the leftover sauce adds richness, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top gives the dish a polished, restaurant-plated look. This is the kind of dinner that feels like a genuine treat for two, whether that’s a special night in or simply wanting seafood without seafood-restaurant prices. At $9.50 total, it proves an impressive, glossy salmon dinner doesn’t have to be a splurge.
