High-Protein Spinach & Pineapple Green Smoothie — 26g Protein, Under $3
This is the green smoothie that does not taste green. Frozen pineapple and banana do the flavour work so completely that the spinach disappears into the background entirely — the colour is the only evidence it is there, and even that is a vivid, tropical green rather than the muddy grey-green that gives bad green smoothies their reputation. Greek yogurt provides 26 grams of protein without any powder, a squeeze of lime adds brightness, and the whole thing blends into something thick, cold, and tropical that tastes far better than it has any right to for under three dollars. This is the smoothie that converts people who claim they do not like green smoothies.
